the battalion’s Jane Wayne Day here, March 15, 2013. Family members participated in 
Marine Corps Martial Arts Program training, received instruction on several Marine 
Corps weapon systems, and rode on amphibious assault vehicles. Available in High Definition.
  • Spouses of Marines with Marine Aircraft Group 16 attended Jane Wayne Day to learn what it means to be a Marine, and spend a day in their husbands' boots. During the event they met drill instructors, shot simulated M-16A4 service rifles and M9 pistols, flew in MV-22B Osprey simulators and watched a dog demonstration. The Marine spouses were able to learn self-defense techniques with Marine Corps Martial Arts Program instructors.
