Service Members from the U.S. Army Baker Company 2/9 Infantry, 2nd Infantry Division and Thai soldiers from 7th Regiment, 7th Division, 3rd Royal Thai Army learning Muay Thai. Muay Thai instructor showed basic moves using elbow blocks and counter punches. Thai and U.S. soldiers sparred with each in groups of two practicing moves. Thai and U.S. Army Soldiers are training at Camp Akatossarot, Phitsanulok Province training together part of Excercise Cobra Gold 2013. Also available in high definition.

CG 13 forces conduct engineering and  medical civic assistance projects, cooperative health engagements, and other civil-military activities  in the Kingdom of Thailand, in order to promote the security interests of the Kingdom of Thailand,  U.S. and partner nations, enhance component operational readiness skills and training objectives, increase interoperability with partner nation forces, and serve the basic civic needs of the local  population.   • Marines and Sailors of Company C., Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, execute a helicopter raid alongside their Thai counterparts as part of exercise Cobra Gold 2013. The U.S. and Thai Marines inserted together via CH-53E Super Stallion and CH-46E Sea Knight helicopters from Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 262 (Reinforced), 31st MEU. The objective was a small collection of buildings near the beach. The MEU Marines provided support by fire as the Thai Marines served as the assault force. Includes sound bites from Sgt.
