Coast Guard crews aboard boats and aircraft, on the shore and in the water, were participating in the 2012 Texas Coast Boat and Outdoor Show at the Galveston Yacht Basin Oct. 13. The crews enforced a safety zone around the boat races, educated the public through a static boat display for people to visit and they rescued a dummy from the water using a helicopter and rescue swimmer.
