Say No to Suicide, Say Yes to Life!
On a hot and humid September morning, more-than 200 members of the Puerto Rico National Guard along with the Adjutant General of Puerto Rico, Maj. Gen. Antonio J. Vicens, participated in the second PRNG Suicide Prevention Walk on Sept. 21. The Citizen-Soldiers walked from the PRNG Headquarters to the Old San Juan area and back to HQ's, in solidarity with the Army's Suicide Prevention Program. "The PRNG is a community based organization, therefore, we must make everyone aware that one life lost due to suicide, is one too many," said Vicens.
