During a flood fight, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers works with local, state and federal agencies to mitigate the risks associated with high water. And in the case of Tribal Partners, the Corps works with sovereign nations. The Corps maintains a trust partnership with the Tribes and is able to offer a variety of technical and direct assistance under the Public Law 84-99 program. See how that interaction plays out with the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in North and South Dakota and the Winnebago Tribe in Iowa. Video by Kevin Wingert, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Available in high definition.
