The first corps-level, unified land operations training exercise in more than 10 years kicked off Monday, June 11 at Fort Hood.
While the Warfighter exercise is a computer based and driven simulation, it still involves more than 3,000 Soldiers and civilians from 17 different units from across the U.S. The units participating include the 101st Airborne Division, and the National Guard’s 28th Infantry Division and 35th Infantry Division. Soldiers at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas are also participating via the tactical networks.
