Army Reserve Lt. Gen. Jeffrey W. Talley assumed duties as Chief Army Reserve and took command as Commanding General, U.S. Army Reserve Command, from Lt. Gen. Jack C. Stultz in ceremonies scheduled for June 9, 2012. Prior to the change of command, Lt. Gen. Talley was promoted to his current grade and both ceremonies were presided over by Gen.
