Video: Camp Atterbury Former Landowners Reunion Story
Video by Ashley Fowler and Timothy Sproles
In support of training Soldiers for deployment in World War II, approximately 600 farm families were relocated from an area of central Indiana that would later become Camp Atterbury. To honor the former landowners, an annual event is held at Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center to preserve the legacy of their sacrifice to the United States.
