Brig. Gen. Hugh Van Roosen accepted a United Nations position as the Air Force Chief of Staff of the United Nations mission in Liberia. Van Roosen will be in Liberia in the summer of 2012. Van Roosen is the first flag officer in 16 years to work for the U.N.
