The Rocky Mountain Engine Academy trains and tests Wildland firefighters from Wyoming, South Dakota, Colorado, Nebraska and Kansas. The 2012 training includes firefighters from the U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management. the academy plans are to continue training at the Camp Guernsey Joint training Center in 2013.
