Retired Army Staff Sergeant Jessie White talks about how soldier athletes get selected and train for the Warrior Games. Warrior Games is a joint endeavor between the US Olympic Committee (USOC) and the Department Of Defense. From 30 April to 5 May, more than 200 wounded, ill, and injured athletes from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force and and Special Operations Command will compete for gold in seven sports. The competition will be hosted by the US Olympic Committee's Paralympic Military Program in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
