Airmen of the Hawaii Air National Guard honored its top performers of two thousand eleven at the Hawaii Air National Guard recognition awards on April 15. The ceremony took place on joint base Pearl Harbor Hickam where the Hawaii Air National Guard is headquartered. Being recognized as a top performer is no small feat: the Hawaii Air National Guard has three flying units and approximately twenty five hundred Airmen spread over the Hawaiian islands making it one of the largest and most diverse units in the Air National Guard.
