On 6 March, 2012, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force service members, U.S. Marines with the Provost Marshal's Office (PMO) and PMO's Special Reaction Team (SRT) respond to a hostage scenario during exercise Active Shield 2012, Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan.
