B-roll of how Marines and Sailors with the Force Reconnaissance Platoon of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit conduct a vessel board, search and seizure of the U.S. Naval Ship Dahl in preparation for an upcoming deployment. Because the Dahl is not a war ship, the training provided a unique opportunity to familiarize the unit with the layout of transport and merchant vessels.The training is valuable because Force Recon Marines provide the only VBSS capability in the Asia Pacific.
