Approximately 2,000 Soldiers of the Arkansas Army National Guard's 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team are currently participating in pre-mobilization training at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas, in preparation for a potential deployment to Afghanistan in the summer of 2012. This three week training period is focused on teaching the Soldier's individual Warrior Tasks and exercising those skills in an intense, realistic environment.
