    FORT HOOD, Texas - A fire in the vicinity of Jack Mountain, which is within the Fort Hood range impact area burns Aug. 30, 2011. Fort Hood Directorate of Emergency Services, Soldiers and the Texas Forestry Service are battling the blaze with helicopters with water buckets and additional ground support vehicles. As of 9:30 p.m. Aug. 30, 750 acres had burned. As of 10 a.m. Aug. 31, it was reported that the fire had consumed two power poles, knocking out power to West Rand Road facilities.
