Afghan and Coalition forces discovered several drug and weapons caches in Helmand province during five separate patrols, March 2nd. In Garm Ser district, patrols discovered 350lbs of hashish and 20lbs of opium. A weapons cache was also discovered consisting of several Improvised Explosive Device components. In Marjah, a coalition patrol discovered a weapons cache with seven rocket propelled grenade rounds, four cans of 7.62mm rounds and two radio-controlled receivers.
