Kathy Wright, Wyoming's assistant adjutant general -- Army, describes her observations of the way the National Guard has changed from the time she enlisted during the Vietnam War, to the present. Wright is the first woman to obtain the rank of brigadier general in the Wyoming Army National Guard. She is the second woman to obtain that rank in the Wyoming National Guard.
