The Chief of Staff for the Army is visiting Soldiers around during the holidays. One stop he made was to honor a Hundred and First Airborne Soldier who saved many Soldier's lives at his patrol base in Paktika, Province, Afghanastan. Army Sgt. Victor Gardner was at the award ceremony and talked to the Rakkasan Soldier receiving the Silver Star.
