    United States Air Forces Central

Interview with Airman 1st Class Matthew Giles, from the 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron, about the KC-10 Extender mission in support of Operation Enduring Freedom at an undisclosed location in southwest Asia. The mission included fueling an E-3 Sentry, A-10 Thunderbolt IIs, a French Air Force Mirage F1, and U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornets. The capacity of the KC-10's six fuel tanks carry more than 356,000 pounds of fuel, which is nearly twice as much as the KC-135 Stratotanker. Also available in high definition.
