La. Guard receives thanks at Sunshine Gala
 The Louisiana National Guard was praised during a special gala held at Louisiana's Old Governor's Mansion for its participation in the famous Sunshine Foundation reading program in Baton Rouge, La., Nov. 17.

Louisiana Guardsmen return home after deployment to Iraq
 After a year-long deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, approximately 120 Soldiers from the Louisiana Army National Guard's 225th Engineer Brigade were welcomed home during a special reception at Camp Beauregard near Pineville, La., Nov. 15.

Louisiana Guardsmen inducted into LSU Hall of Honor
 Brig. Gen. Glenn Curtis, director of the joint staff for the Louisiana National Guard, was one of 11 alumni inducted into the Cadets of the Ole War Skule Hall of Honor during a ceremony on the Louisiana State University campus, Saturday, Nov. 14.
