William Huber, the commander of Yongsan Garrison, and the wives of the top general officers on Yongsan and Camp Red Cloud, showcasing the facilities and opportunities for the community Jan. 20.

Emergency first responders don't get a break during the holiday season. Whether it is Christmas or any other day of the week ER and mail room staff, firefighters, military police, Korean National Police and gate guards remain on duty 24/7, keeping U.S. Army Garrison Yongsan safe. To thank these dedicated members of the garrison for their unwavering service, Yongsan continued its annual tradition of spreading Christmas cheer by giving out Christmas treats through Operation Santa Express, Dec. 24.

Four Soldiers and four noncommissioned officers from around the world are facing off this week in the IMCOM Best Warrior competition at Camp Bullis, Texas. The winners will be named IMCOM Soldier of the Year and NCO of the Year, and compete for Army Soldier and NCO of the year at Fort Lee, Va., in the fall. The Soldiers reached the IMCOM competition after winning installation and region levels. IMCOM has four regions: Pacific, Central, Atlantic and Europe. "The Strength of our Nation is our Army, the Strength of our Army is our Soldiers, the Strength of our Soldiers is our Families, this is what makes us Army Strong!" About the U.S. Army Installation Management Community: IMCOM handles the day-to-day operations of U.S. Army installations around the globe -- We are the Army's Home. Army installations are communities that provide many of the same types of services expected from any small city. Fire, police, public works, housing, and child-care are just some of the things IMCOM does in Army communities every day. We endeavor to provide a quality of life for Soldiers, Civilians and Families commensurate with their service.
