Army Opens New Research Laboratory
The Ground Systems Power and Energy Laboratory (GSPEL) officially opened April 11 with a ceremony that featured top government dignitaries, industry and academic leaders. GSPEL, which contains 30,000 square feet of testing space, houses eight different labs. It offers an unprecedented range of testing capabilities for Army vehicles. Available in high definition.

AMC Team Delivers Customized Black Hawks To Help Mexican Federal Police
As part of a U.S. State Department Merida Initiative, groups from the Army Materiel Command worked for months to quickly customize two new UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters for the Federal Police of Mexico. In a ceremony at redstone Arsenal, Army COL. Thomas Todd III handed over the keys and logbooks to U.S. Ambassador William R. Brownfield, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs.
