RCP 13, made up of a group of boys from Mississippi, and two other RCP platoons, 49 and 70, of the 287th Engineer Military Augmentee Company based in Lucedale, Miss. headed to Bagram Air Field Jan. 28, one step closer to going home after hunting improvised explosive devices on roads all over Khost, Ghazni and Paktya provinces in eastern Afghanistan.

Soldiers at FOB Salerno Celebrate Christmas
During Christmas time, many Soldiers around Afghanistan work their normal jobs and try to make the best of the day. Soldiers at Forward Operating Base Salerno took a little time out to celebrate Christmas in different ways. Army Sgt. Victor Gardner visited the FOB to see just what they were celebrating.

Rakkasan Silver Star Recipient
Army Chief of Staff, Gen. Casey is visiting Soldiers around Afghanistan during the holidays. One stop he made was to honor a Hundred and First Airborne Soldier who saved many Soldiers lives at his patrol base in Paktika Province, Afghanistan. Army Sgt.
