Flying High with the Stars The 1-168th Aviation Battalion, deployed since August, has served in Kuwait to fly VIPs and senior leaders around Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan. They have flown celebrities Jessica Simpson and Carlos Mencia and leaders Sen. John McCain and the first lady. (04/19/08)
Father, Daughter Make Family of Own in Army One of the biggest challenges Soldiers face during deployment is having to leave family at home. It is through that process that kinship grows among fellow Soldiers, and units become second families.
