1st ACB begins mission transition process with 12th CAB in Afghanistan A little less than a year ago, soldiers from the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division touched down in Afghanistan to commence what would be the brigade’s first deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. The 1st Air Cavalry Brigade is currently conducting full spectrum aviation operations all across Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
This video highlights the first six months of the brigade’s deployment, as the brigade’s Soldiers provide coalition ground forces with medevac, air assault capabilities and air weapons teams to help foster a better future for the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
