Following the fall of Saigon in 1975, many Vietnamese immigrants saw the United States as a beacon of hope as they escaped their war-torn nation.
More than most, Soldiers know about never quitting, it is in their ethos and creed – a code they have embedded in their hearts from the beginning of their military careers.
U.S. and Iraqi forces worked together in an air assault and patrol mission to check on the standard of living in a small village north of here, Nov. 12.
Many Soldiers, past and present, have followed their father's footsteps and joined the Army, keeping a tradition of service intact through the decades.
A nation's flag can be a powerful symbol of pride for people; a flag that comes with a story behind it can mean so much more.
