Col. Darren E. Hamilton, previous 179th Cyberspace Wing commander, is promoted to brigadier general at the 179th Cyberspace Wing, June 6, 2026. Hamilton joined the 179th in 1986 as a crew chief on the C-130B aircraft, working his way through the ranks to serve as the 179th wing commander from December 2021 to June 2026 (Air National Guard photo by Tech.
