FORT HOOd, Texas - Soldiers from 6th ‘Saber’ Squadron, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, conducted live fire training with the M-121 Carrier Mounted 120mm Mortar, here, Dec. 1.
The ‘Saber’ soldiers are taking part in a Combined Arms Live Fire Exercise, designed to test the capabilities of the individual crew members and also assess the “Greywolf” brigade before their upcoming rotation to the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, Calif.
