WASHINGTON ― Time is running out to complete applications for participation in the Presidential Inaugural Parade. The Joint Task Force ̶ National Capital Region Presidential Inaugural Parade application website will close at 8 p.m., EST, Friday, Nov. 30, 2012. All organizations wishing to participate must complete their applications by that time.

Applications for participation must be submitted online at http://2013InaugurationParade.army.mil. Interested parties can also access additional information about the parade and view detailed instructions for completing and submitting their application materials.

During the last inauguration, 1,382 groups applied to participate in the parade, surpassing the 343 applicants in 2005. All applications are collected and organized by JTF-NCR and then submitted to the Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC), which is appointed by the President-Elect. Organizations selected to participate by the PIC will be notified in mid-December.

No hardcopy materials will be accepted.
