News: America's top military officer praises courage of ANA's 215th Maiwand Corps

CAMP LEATHERNECK, Afghanistan - Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, met with senior officials on Camp Leatherneck to discuss the security environment in southern Afghanistan, Sept. 25.
The chairman discussed the state of the Afghan Army with Maj. Gen.
Sayed Malouk, the commanding general of the Afghan National Army 215th Corps.
Dempsey praised the 215th Corps on their courage and ability to conduct independent and joint operations against the enemies of Afghanistan in a successful manner.
"The enemy cannot retake any district here," Malouk said. "I do not have any concerns about the current security situation. We have challenges, like all nations, and we have to face them."
