DES MOINES, Iowa- Arthur D. Dixon was promoted to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer Four in the U.S. Army Reserve during a ceremony held at Camp Dodge, Iowa, Aug. 24.
Brig. Gen. Arlan M. DeBlieck, commanding general, 103rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), U.S. Army Reserve, hosted the ceremony and Dixon’s wife, Desiree, attended and pinned his new rank.
Dixon is the son of Mary P. Dixon of Dothan, Ala., and is the father of Christopher Dixon, Dothan, Ala., and Anthony Dixon, Ames, Iowa. He is a graduate of Dale County High School, Midland City, Ala., and received a Bachelor of Arts in Business in 2004 from William Penn University, Des Moines.
Dixon is currently the Senior Ground Maintenance Warrant Officer for the 103rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), headquartered in Des Moines. His 21 years of military service includes overseas assignments in Korea and Germany as well as deployments to Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
