KABUL, Afghanistan – Two International Security Assistance Force service members died following an improvised explosive device attack in eastern Afghanistan, Aug. 1.
A local Afghan interpreter, contracted by ISAF, also died following the IED attack.
It is ISAF policy to defer casualty identification procedures to the relevant national authorities.
