CAMP LEATHERNECK, Afghanistan - The 215th Maiwand Corps public affairs has announced the recent graduation of more than 200 Afghan National Army sergeants from the Shorab education center in Helmand province, July 25.
The continued professionalization of the Afghan National Army with courses such as the Sgt.'s course, provides mid-level enlisted leaders with greater knowledge and skills to lead and care for their fellow Soldiers. Sergeants are instructed on such things as classes on lifesaving procedures and following the safety regulations when driving and transporting Soldiers on and off the battlefield.
