FORT MCCOY, Wis.- Sgt. 1st Class Arthur J. Odgers from Greensboro, N.C., represents the 91st Division in the 2012 Regional Best Warrior Competition at Fort McCoy, June 4-8.
Non-Commissioned Officers and lower enlisted soldiers compete to test their physical and mental merit. They will earn points in each of these events: the Army Physical Fitness Test, Ruck March, Combatives, M16 Qualification, an Appearance Board before command sergeants major and assorted Mystery Events. The top scorers are scheduled to be revealed during the Awards Banquet being held 4:30 p.m. Central Standard Time on Thursday, June 7, at McCoys, here. The NCO & soldier awarded the most points will move on to the U.S. Army Reserve Command Best Warrior Competition scheduled to be held back here at Fort McCoy in July.
