News: SERE course: combat skills

CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. — Aircrew members stationed at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., took part in a combat course with instructors from the 27th Special Operations Support Squadron Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape team, May 2.
Students could blow off steam during while practicing maneuvers demonstrated on each other using safety gear to avoid real-injuries.
The course gave students experience in hand-to-hand combat, how to handle different levels of aggression from opposing forces and taught various take down movements.
