CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. - The 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit's final at-sea certification exercise was Feb. 13 aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Landing Craft Utility transport boats and Landing Craft Air Cushioned hovercrafts landed at Mile Hammock Bay to offload Marines and their equipment from amphibious assault ships of the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group.

CERTEX is the final at-sea training period for the 24thMEU prior to their deployment later this spring.
