FALLS CHURCH, Va. -- There are only a few days left to submit nominations for the 2012 "Building Stronger Female Physician Leaders in the Military Health System" award, which recognizes female physicians within the military community.

To get a nomination form for the leadership awards program, please visit http://www.health.mil/blog/11-10-25/Last_Call_to_Nominate_Female_Military_Physicians_for_Leadership_Award.aspx. The deadline for submitting applications to the Chief Human Capital Office is midnight EST, Oct. 28, 2011. The services collect all nominations and vet them through their chain before they are forwarded to Rebecca Russell, the award POC. Please use the following email address to submit your award nomination packet to your service point of contact.

Winners will be honored during a ceremony at the annual MHS Conference, which will take place Jan. 30 through Feb. 2, 2012.
