JOPLIN, Mo. — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers today awarded a $1.3 million contract to Pangea and Brinkman Joint Venture, a small business concern, based out of St. Louis, for modular facilities to be used as a temporary school.
The contract, in the amount of $1,398,761.00, is for the supply and installation of modular facilities for a temporary school for Joplin High School at Memorial Campus, 310 West 8th Street in Joplin, Mo.
USACE is managing the construction of temporary critical structures in Joplin as part of the federal government’s unified national response following the tornado which struck the city May 22. These facilities are for use while longer term repairs are made or more permanent replacement structures are built.
