FORWARD OPERATING BASE LAGMAN, Afghanistan - Combined Team Zabul led by 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Arctic Wolves, officially assumed its current battle-space from 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment May 18.

Since then, Arctic Wolves’ Brigade Commander, Col. Todd R. Wood has wasted no time in getting fully engaged in battlefield circulation or making the rounds to the numerous operating bases in sector.

Wood has placed increased emphasis on visiting Afghan national security forces’ locations, including those of the Afghan National Army and Afghan National Police. The primary areas Wood has been checking closely since assuming operations is ANSF's capability, as well as quality of life within their facilities.

CTZ and 1-25th SBCT will continue to assist and protect the people of Afghanistan by supporting the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, and increasing the capacity and capability of the ANSF throughout its current deployment.
