ANSF, USSF distribute aid in Konduz

KONDUZ, Afghanistan – Members of the Afghan National Security Force and soldiers from Special Operations Task Force – East distributed clothing and school supplies to local villagers in Konduz district, Konduz province Jan. 19.

Approximately 300 villagers received winter coats, back packs and notebooks distributed in Dom Shak, Al Chin, Talawka I and Talawka II villages within the Konduz district.

“Humanitarian aid is a great way to connect with the local populace,” said a U.S. Special Forces medic. “And with our Afghan partners, they know who in the community needs the aid the most and can ensure the aid gets distributed to the right people.”
