KABUL, Afghanistan - International Security Assistance Forces conducted a precision airstrike to destroy a home-made explosives storage site in the Reg-e Khan Neshin District of Helmand province Saturday.

Multiple intelligence sources and tips from Afghan citizens led ISAF to a home-made explosives storage site. After several hours of surveillance, ISAF confirmed the site when they observed two insurgents in the process of storing hundreds of kilograms of home-made explosives.

After confirming there were no civilians present, ISAF destroyed the facility with a precision airstrike.

The two insurgents were killed in the explosion.

Large secondary explosions were seen, indicating a large amount of explosives were present at the site.
