KABUL, Afghanistan -- Two children were killed and one was injured when insurgents fired indirect and small-arms in Jani Khel District, Paktika province Thursday.
A third child received superficial wounds to their chest and heel.
Additionally, three civilians were wounded and one was killed by insurgents in a separate attack in Kunar province, Bar Kunar District, Friday. Coalition forces returned fire and killed one insurgent.
