KABUL, Afghanistan - While on a routine patrol, Afghan National Security and International Security Assistance Forces were targeted by an insurgent in Helmand province Thursday.

During the patrol, an insurgent on a motorbike approached the group. He stopped and raised his weapon at the patrol demonstrating a hostile intent and the security force responded by shooting and killing the insurgent
