KABUL, Afghanistan - Coalition forces discovered more than 460 kilograms of ammonium nitrate in a village in the Arghandab district of Kandahar province Friday.

Coalition forces estimate more than 20 improvised explosive devices could have been made with the amount of banned material discovered.

This marks the second consecutive day coalition forces have made a significant find of IED-making material in Arghandab. On Thursday, forces found more than 1,100 kilograms of ammonium nitrate.
