News: ANSF, coalition force delivers ballots despite IED strike

KABUL - Afghan and coalition forces recovered election ballots from an Independent Election Commission vehicle damaged by an improvised explosive device in the Shindand District of Herat province Sept. 17.
The Afghan National Police cordoned off the area around the vehicle and evacuated three wounded Afghan civilians to a nearby hospital.
The combined force recovered the ballots from the scene of the blast and completed the distribution to designated polling centers.
