MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. -- C Company, 4th Battalion, 118th Infantry Regiment, will host a public open house Aug. 27 from 12 to 6 p.m. Capt. Mark McGee, commander, invites the public to attend. The armory is located at 245 Mathis Ferry Road, Mount Pleasant, S.C.
“We will feature a rock climbing wall,” said Sgt. Nathan Gobles, recruiting and retention non-commissioned officer. “There will also be interactive weapons, chemical equipment, and vehicles on display.”
The State Guard will also be present with their Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, an unmanned helicopter.
Hamburgers, popcorn, snow cones, and drinks will be served at no charge, along with local businesses providing information on their services. Haddrell's Point Tackle and Supply, Elite Family Chiropractic, and Back In Touch Massage will be just a few who will be represented.
