Soldiers keeping up their Education Spc. Samantha Paredes

Spc. David Arias, a native of Red Oak, Texas, makes time to take his online courses. Arias is currently deployed with Foxtrot Company, 949th Brigade Support Battalion, 419th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade in support of Multi-National Division-Baghdad.

CAMP TAJI, Iraq – Soldiers from F Company, 949th Brigade Support Battalion, while here fighting for our country, are also keeping up with their schooling.

It may be hard to juggle both school and work, while preparing for and going out on missions, but these Soldiers have the dedication to do both. Spc. David Arias, a Red Oak, Texas native, works as a mechanic in the maintenance shop. While working long days making sure that our convoys can roll out with operating vehicles, he finds the time to take correspondence courses to better himself at his job.

There are other Soldiers from Foxtrot Co. making these same sacrifices. The Command team is making sure that their Soldiers are taking advantage of all the opportunities available here in Iraq.
