BAGHDAD – Coalition, provincial and Iraqi leaders from Multi-National Division – Center met Department of Defense representatives for the first ever Civil-Military Coordination Conference Aug. 11-13, 2008.
The conference enabled provincial leaders from Mada'in Qada, Mahmoudiyah, Babil, Wasit, Karbala and Najaf to synchronize capacity building goals in the provinces south of Baghdad.
Discussions focused on agricultural improvements, housing and private investments.
