    Operation Rising Star Showcases Best Military Talent in Tenth Season

    JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO – U.S. Army Entertainment will welcome six finalists to the stage in its tenth season of Operation Rising Star for a series of live performances December 6, 8, 10 and 12. The premier singing competition for Active Duty U.S. .ilitary and their family members worldwide is similar to American Idol’s format, and showcases the military community’s best individual vocal talent for audiences to enjoy.

    This year’s finalists include three Soldiers, two Army family members and an Airman. The winner will be awarded a custom professional recording studio experience. To commemorate the 10th year of Operation Rising Star and reflect this year’s theme, “Soldier for Life,” six past winners will return as All-Stars and team up with the 2014 finalists to mentor and perform alongside them on stage.
