FORT HOOD, Texas - Fort Hood officials have released the name of a Soldier who died Nov. 8 from injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Arlington, Texas.
Staff Sgt. Rajarad Anthony Williams, 26, whose home of record is Dallas, entered active-duty service in November 2007 as a Patriot fire control enhanced operator/maintainer. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 44th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 69th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, Fort Hood, since October 2013.
Williams' awards and decorations include five Army Achievement Medals, two Army Good Conduct Medals, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon and Marksmanship Qualification Badge Sharpshooter with Rifle.
